Efelin Salgado
Counseling Intern
Efelin Salgado is a graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and serves clients as a counselor-in-training. She strives for a holistic, reality/choice therapy, helping children, adolescents, and adults achieve healing in all areas of their lives. She focuses on helping clients find their power to promote long-term change for the betterment of their lives.
Efelin utilizes evidence-based practices consistent with treatment modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality/Choice Therapy, and Psychoeducational approaches. She welcomes individuals from all socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. She offers therapy in Spanish being a native speaker.
Outside of work, Efelin enjoys any outdoor recreational activities, cooking, entertaining and gardening.
