Stephani Wolfe is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with more than a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and families. She began providing therapeutic services in 2013 and brings a strong background in early childhood development, educational settings, and family support and advocacy.
Her experience has given her an appreciation for how early relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences can shape the way people understand themselves and respond to the world around them.
Areas of Focus
Stephani works with children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, family conflict, and the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences.
She understands that children and teens don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling, and that parents don’t always know the best way to help. Stephani works to create a supportive environment where young people can express themselves, families can better understand one another, and everyone has room to learn and grow.
Her Approach to Counseling
Stephani believes that meaningful progress starts with feeling heard, understood, and supported. Her counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered, giving clients the space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment.
She draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art and play therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches.
Stephani also recognizes that some of the patterns we carry into our relationships and everyday lives begin much earlier than we realize. By helping clients explore those connections, she encourages greater self-awareness, healthier emotional expression, and new ways of responding to challenges.
Whether she’s working with a child learning to manage big emotions, a teenager trying to make sense of their experiences, or a family struggling to communicate, Stephani focuses on helping clients feel understood while building skills they can use beyond the counseling office.
