Molly Mammen, LMHC, graduated from Lynn University, where she earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since 2014, Molly has worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, with a strong focus on mental health wellness and substance use recovery.

Areas of Focus

Molly works with adults, teens, and couples navigating substance use disorders, mood disorders, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

She also has a special interest in women’s and maternal mental health, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period. From the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy to the changes in identity, relationships, and everyday life that come with becoming a parent, Molly helps clients work through the parts of this transition that don’t always make it into the baby books.

Her Approach to Counseling

Molly takes a person-centered approach to therapy, creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients can talk openly, feel understood, and work through challenges at their own pace.

She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, tailoring her approach to each client’s needs and goals.

Molly believes a strong relationship between therapist and client makes a real difference. Her style is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping people better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Outside the Office

When she’s not working, Molly enjoys spending time with her family, checking out local restaurants and businesses, and visiting Walt Disney World. Because sometimes a little Disney magic is exactly what’s needed.
