Bailee Young
MSW, LCSW
Individual
Family
Bailee Young is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience across a wide range of behavioral health settings, including crisis stabilization, detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient therapy, and forensic mental health.
She began working in behavioral health in 2021 as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. That early experience continues to shape her passion for helping young people and their families navigate challenges, build confidence, and find approaches that work for them.
Areas of Focus
Bailee especially enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as supporting parents and families navigating the challenges and questions that can come with a diagnosis.
She also works with young adults facing the sometimes exciting, sometimes overwhelming transition into adulthood. Whether it’s adjusting to college, figuring out a career path, navigating relationships, exploring identity, or managing anxiety, depression, and self-esteem concerns, Bailee helps clients make sense of where they are and where they want to go.
Her Approach to Counseling
Bailee brings a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth style to counseling. She believes therapy should be a place where people can show up as themselves without worrying about being judged or having all the right answers.
Her approach is tailored to each client and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed interventions, and person-centered techniques.
While Bailee offers plenty of compassion and encouragement, she’s also comfortable being honest and direct when it’s helpful. She works collaboratively with clients to recognize their strengths, identify patterns that may be getting in their way, develop practical coping skills, and build confidence in handling challenges outside the counseling office.
Outside the Office
When she’s not working, Bailee enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats, shelling and hunting for shark teeth, gardening, boating, traveling, and exploring Florida’s outdoors. If there’s a beach, a boat, or an opportunity to find a really good shark tooth, she’s probably interested.
