Dr. Connie L. Ingram brings extensive experience to her work with individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations. Her approach combines psychological, behavioral, and spiritual perspectives with practical strategies that help people work through challenges, improve relationships, and move forward with greater confidence.

Family Relationships & Court-Involved Services

Dr. Ingram is well known throughout Palm Beach and Martin counties for her work with high-conflict couples and families navigating complicated legal and relationship challenges. As a Reunification Professional and Parenting Coordinator, she helps parents work through ongoing conflict, improve communication, and develop more effective ways of co-parenting. Because even when a marriage ends, the parenting responsibilities don’t.

Dr. Ingram is also a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and is certified to conduct juvenile competency evaluations and guardianship evaluations in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties.

Professional Experience & Leadership

Dr. Ingram’s professional experience extends well beyond the counseling office. She has worked with a wide range of organizations and specialized populations, including the Department of Defense, hospitals, and financial institutions.

She also works with individuals, families, and groups throughout the United States, helping people develop healthier ways of relating, strengthen communication, and build more fulfilling personal and professional relationships.

In addition to her clinical and consulting work, Dr. Ingram serves as an adjunct professor in business, psychology, and leadership studies. She is also certified in clinical supervision for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals working toward licensure.

Her Approach to Counseling

Dr. Ingram believes meaningful change comes from more than simply understanding a problem. It’s about learning what to do differently. Her approach is practical, collaborative, and skill-based, helping clients recognize unhelpful patterns, develop new perspectives, and put what they learn into practice.

That philosophy is reflected in the mission of Ingram & Associates: Transforming Lives by Renewing Minds.

Whether she’s working with a family navigating conflict, an individual facing a difficult transition, or an organization looking to improve relationships and communication, Dr. Ingram focuses on helping people move beyond what’s keeping them stuck and toward meaningful, lasting change.

A Personal Note from Dr. Connie L. Ingram

Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I want you to know what you can expect when we work together.

From the moment you begin working with me, you will have my full attention and presence during each session. Before your first appointment, I will take the time to review your paperwork so I can come prepared with an understanding of what is important to you and the concerns that brought you to therapy.

You can expect warmth, professionalism, honesty, and confidentiality. I value your time and will make every effort to begin our sessions as scheduled and use our time together intentionally. Our work will focus on understanding the challenges you are experiencing, identifying what may be standing in the way of your goals, and developing practical ways to help you move forward.

I stay informed about current issues and developments in the field of mental health and will provide resources, tools, and strategies that support your individual needs and goals. Depending on what we are working on, there may even be some therapy homework along the way. 😊

Most importantly, I believe therapy should be a collaborative process. I bring my experience, training, and expertise to our work, while you bring your unique experiences, strengths, and perspective. Together, we will work to better understand what is getting in the way of the life you want and develop meaningful steps toward your therapeutic goals.

My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, respected, supported, and equipped with something you can take with you into your everyday life.
