Idaly Diaz is a passionate and dedicated, bilingual mental health professional committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she strives to create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels heard and supported. Her goal is to empower individuals to find healing, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
With a strong educational foundation and hands-on experience, Idaly has worked with clients facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including eating disorders, grief, family conflicts, depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other complex conditions. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), psychodynamic therapy, and experiential techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychodrama and empty chair method. She tailors her approach to meet each person’s unique needs, helping them develop practical skills for emotional regulation, positive change, and long-term growth.
Beyond her clinical work, Idaly Diaz has a background in community development, focusing on building community resources, community relationships, and developing leaders. She has also been involved in missionary efforts supporting children with disabilities, providing targeted support and creating inclusive environments that promote learning and social connections. She believes in the importance of compassion, patience, and understanding, especially when working with vulnerable populations.
Outside of her professional life, Idaly enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring new cultures through travel, and spending quality time with loved ones. These passions help her stay balanced and inspired, enabling her to bring her best self to her clients.
