Ginny Sale is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and EMDR trained therapist. She specializes in providing therapy for individuals seeking therapy for trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, grief/loss, OCD and anxiety and depression. She is also knowledgeable and experienced with assisting First Responders, Military Service men and women, and Military Veterans. She is understanding of the unique challenges they often face.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Ginny brings several years of experience as a mental health counselor for trauma survivor, substance abuse and dual-diagnosis clients, in both the treatment center and private counseling settings.
Ginny’s approach to therapy is strength based and client centered. She is skilled in utilizing EMDR Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). She assists clients in identifying and addressing negative core beliefs about self that can serve as roadblocks to achieving overall health and well-being. She works with clients to facilitate moving through “stuck points” to be able to find freedom from these problems.
In her spare time, Ginny enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys volunteering for the kid’s ministry at her church. She has two small dogs who she describes as “my babies.” Mojo and Gizmo have previously attended and assisted with group therapy sessions. Ginny enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, fishing, boating and reading on the beach. She is also a pretty good cook and enjoys being in the role of hostess.
