Carrie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been providing services to children, families and adults since 1999. She is also a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and uses play therapy with children ages 2 and older.
Carrie utilizes an integrative approach with her client’s to help them achieve their goals. Carrie’s areas of expertise include mood disorders, trauma and abuse, family issues, play therapy, behavioral issues, and depression and anxiety. Some treatment modalities adopted in her practice have been play therapy, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and psycho-educational.
Currently, Carrie is pursuing her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. In addition, Carrie is certified to provide supervision to Master’s level Mental Health Counselors seeking Florida licensure. She is also able to provide supervision for therapists seeking to become a Registered Play Therapist.
